PRAKASH DHAKAL

Prakash has started his career in HR from 2010 joining one social organization; and then he joined one leading recruiting company for a year as an Recruiting Executive after completion of his MBA degree in HR. From the July of 2013, he is working in Leapfrog Technology Inc. as an Associate HR Manager. He is also actively involving in the board of HR Society Nepal.

RESEARCH WORK
I have conducted a Research as a co-researcher on "Status of Employees Turnover on Restaurant Business in Kathmandu Vally" Under the Direct Supervision and Guidance of Prof. Dr. Shree Krishna Shrestha, Chair and Chief Education Director, IBMS College. The Research will be taken among the restaurant on which turnover of the employee is high. For this research, restaurant is defined as a place where meals (Food) and drinks are sold and served to the customers with having 10 to 25 employees.

MANAGEMENT WORK

Executive Member in Jagriti Child and Youth Concern Nepal. JCYCN is the non-profit making, non-political and non-governmental organization established in 2001 to serve the society by advocating child and youth rights. During my tenure at JCYCN I have assisted voluntarily on management activities, recruiting and selection of volunteers and interns

Founder Member in HRD Insight. This is a research based informal organization formed by an MBA graduates to work on identifying Human Resource Development Practices in Nepalese organizations. 


Being a General Member in IBMS Student's Club, I have worked as a career and education counselor, Supporting different events and programs run by the college.

SOME SOCIAL WORKS
Attended STUDY VISIT PROGRAM to BRAC Centre Bangladesh from 13 to 20 October, 2012 to visit, study and analyze the situation of adolescents in Bangladesh. The program was facilitated by BRAC Bangladesh. (Note: BRAC is facilitating total 8017 Adolescents Clubs in different sectors of Bangladesh)  

Organized FREE HEALTH CAMP on 16 June, 2012 at Chakupat Lalitpur to facilitate health checkup for the local people of Chakupat.

Organized JIRI VISIT CAMPAIGN for PILGRIM TOURISM PROMOTION and EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT (promoting tourism, spreading awareness on protecting environment and education development in Jiri and donating hundreds of books to the Jiri Secondary School)

Attended the Workshop PYRAMID - 2012 for Sustainable Development. Actively Participated and Brainstormed for finding the best solutions of sustainable development of nation. I also wrote the workshop coverage news, which was published in The Himalayan Times.

Developed Aids Awareness Video named "I Love Nepal" to spread awareness on HIV Aids coordinating with IBMS colleagues . 

Attended 6th International Youth Peace Festival (IYPF - 2011) at Peace City Chandigarh, India representing JCYC Nepal from Nepal.

Organized Blood Donation Program (coordinating with class mates) at IBMS College Premises in association with Nepal Red Cross Society on 2011.... and many more.
